Cedar Class

Welcome to Cedar

Welcome to Term 6 in Cedar Class! This year is flying by - how have we reached the final term already?

We hope you all had a fun and relaxing half term and are ready for another busy and exciting term ahead. This term we are continuing to focus our learning around the topic of Greece but will be looking at the History of Ancient Greece as we know the children have been eager to find out more about it. We launched the children's interests into this by researching some different aspects of the Ancient Greeks and made Electrical Posters which we have displayed in the classroom!

This term we will carry on with our enjoyment of learning with some more exciting topics to capture the children’s love of understanding the wider world. Our knowledge organisers can be found on this page which will give you an insight into what the children will be learning.

For RE this term we are returning to learning about Sikhism and will be taking the children on an educational visit later in the term to the Sikh Gurdwara in Gravesend - letters coming out to you very soon!

Our PE days this term will be Tuesdays and Thursday so please remember to send the children in wearing their PE kit on these days. If for any reason we make any changes to these throughout the weeks, we will make sure we let you know via our Class Dojo page.

Our handwriting focus is paying off - thank you to everyone practising at home as well - we can really see the impact in your writing!

If you need to contact us, please send a message via Dojo or call the school office and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Please keep checking Class Dojo as we will be sending updates and sharing our learning with you.

Thank you for your continued support.
