Hazel Class

Welcome to Term 4 in  Hazel Class

I hope you all had a great half term break and are ready for the second half of Year 5! I could not be prouder of how hard Hazel Class are working and hope that this continues - they are really letting their light shine in all that they do.

This term in Science we have a short unit on animals including humans where we investigate life cycles, before a longer unit on materials - with lots of exciting experiments to look forward to.  In History we will be answering the big question 'What did the Ancient Greeks do for us?' and will be a Greek feast as part of our investigations - Yummy!  Our knowledge organisers and curriculum map can be found on this page to give you more of an insight into what we will be learning. There's also Rockstar Day and World Book Day to look forward to as well as a 'World Book Day' workshop - look out on Class Dojo for more information.

Our PE days this term are Tuesday and Friday. May I remind you that our PE kit consists of navy shorts and a house coloured t-shirt. As the weather turns colder, children should wear a school jumper/cardigan or fleece and they may also wear black plain tracksuit bottoms. On PE days, hair must be tied back and no jewellery is to be worn. Thank you for your cooperation.

Keep an eye on Class Dojo as I will be posting updates as well as keeping you informed about what we are up to in class.

If you need to contact me, you can drop me a message on Class Dojo or call the office and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Thank you for your support.
